Is VA still open carry without a permit? IIRC you only needed a permit to CC resident or non resident.

Yes a gold star open carry state. There are some places off-limits to open carry though.
Well several states have reciprocity policies that say "we will honor yours if you honor ours."
Guess SC will dump VA..... My GA WCL will never be good in VA but my SC Non-Resident CWP is good in VA until Feb. 1, 2016.....
