I didn't realize that, but it makes sense. I'll keep an Eye on it but so far so good.
I thought about putting a full blown lift, but one of the kids is 5 (with a broke arm right now) and the other is 1. Maybe when they get bigger.
I remember truck shopping for my first silverado and finding some "z71's" I liked, only to find out that not all z71's are 4wd anymore. It blew my mind. Apparently z71 is a package that can be put on any truck 2wd or 4wd.

"Z71" is like how Ford uses the FX package now. They just call it FX2 and FX4 where as Chevy calls them all Z71. They just get minor appearance upgrades, i believe suspension upgrades and last i heard a skid plate.
