What and how do you carry while you run?

Does anyone have recommendations on comfortable, secure, and easily accessible rigs for carrying while running?

I hike with a minimalist IWB. I can walk quick but more than a jog means it’s too much weight and will pull down my shorts if I’m not wearing a solid belt.

Fanny pack carry actually makes sense here

I would say something small... p365, in 9 or 380... maybe a ruger lcp. Fanny pack, or one of those belly bands.

I can’t get down with the fanny packs for running. I don’t knock people that use them, but the bouncing of the pack and how slow the pistol is to deploy drives me nuts. Right now I cinch my shorts down tight with these and they won’t go anywhere.

I’m exploring to see if there’s any better options

I walk my little dogs with a little 5 shot .22, it came in handy all ready when a big dog off the leash tried attacking my little dog. The owner, came out running calling his dog off. I did not want to shoot his dog, buy his dog would have killed my old dog.

I use a Belly band and lcp2. Weight is negotiable. No bouncing. Even use the extra pocket for my phone .
