What did you do to better your prep today?

Got in 4 more buckets of Chef's Banquest freeze dried food yesterday. Brings my stock up to 5 months of freeze dried including my Wise Foods, plus 4 more months in canned goods and rice. Also got a food sealer and vacuum sealed all the rice and started on beans.
 
Looked at pressure canners, bought more CR123 batts.

+1 Do it get a canner very rewarding.
Our family does a lot of canning,
Pressure canned 21 quarts venison today, decided to start to make some room in freezer for upcoming deer season. Caning is great way to extend life span of meat, it's simple tastes great and super simple to prepare. Wife also did 14 quarts homemade salsa. Yesterday wife picked up bushel of green beans and canned 24 pints and 6 quarts.
Canning Rocks especially if you have a good cool dry space for storage.
