What did you do to better your prep today?

Got my teeth cleaned, had a physical, and ran my daily 7 miles---beats the hell outta buying ammo and storing food.

You are a different kind of guy.

I guess you will look good and be fit as a fiddle and look great as the hordes of gansters pillage and plunder everything you have.

-To each his own, I guess....
-Good Luck.

^ Nah, I have plenty of ammo and other neccesary items...I just think a lot of folks forget the physical part of a survival situation. Being prepared has as much to do with physical fitness as piles of food ammo and water. In a teotwawki situation our baseline health situation is where we all start from. I'd rather not have to rely on various medications (blood pressure, diabetes, etc) to maintain my health. You can bet your mamas bible that medications will be in shorter supply, and have a shorter shelf life than food, water, guns or ammo.
Keep your dental and physical health up. Excersise regularly, and eat well. That is the pinacle of preparedness for life, not just shtf.

Now I know the end is near! First I agreed with sparked 1 and now HGUN, all within 24 hours!

I cleaned my weapons again for no reason other than they haven't been cleaned for a week. Then I bullet proofed my truck with phone books and shot at it. I should have used more phone books. :heh:

You should find the Mythbusters episode where they did that. It worked pretty well until a barrett was one of the rifles!

I did it was hilarious.:heh: I can see how having a giant yellow truck with no suspension can be very tactically advantageous. :pound:

Wanted to bump this up again. It's interesting to read what others are doing and see some good ideas that I may not be thinking about.

This week I filled another 63 gallons of water, and built shelves for it out of scrap wood I had laying around, and I put up 20 gallons of fuel (with stabilizer).
Although the best part was chatting with my wifes good friends from high school, and realizing that they are all about starting a group to band together during any kind of emergency.

It never ceases to amaze me what a condescending A**HOLE you are! Even IF you ever made a good point, which I've only seen minor scraps of, you're incapable of doing it without trying to make everyone else feel inferior. You must have a very fragile and overinflated ego. Sad. Well, get out there and run boy, cause as they say- you can run, but you'll just die tired! ;)
