What do you think?

The defenses in the SEC obviously aren't what they've been. Auburn will have it's hands full with FSU and I can't imagine what the over/under will be.
OSU, hasn't played a top 15 team in over two years until yesterday and as usual, when they meet actual competition, we saw what happened. There is a reason OSU has the record it has against SEC teams in bowl games. OSU and Oregon are the new Notre Dame and USC for the press. ALWAYA OVER RATED! Had they made it, OSU would have been embarassed, as usual.
If Auburn beats FSU (and I hope they do), it would just put an exclamation point on what a step above the SEC is if they can't beat a team like FSU while only bringing to the party average (at best) defense.
Oh yeah, besides being an SEC homer, I also hope they win so I can say LSU was the only team to beat the national champions.
Geaux (Auburn) Tigers!

I think defense in football at all levels is going the way of basketball. We are seeing huge offensive numbers in NCAA and NFL. It is not a question of talent or coaching but one of policy. Big hits dislodging a ball that the fans love are now "targeting" and we have gone out of our way to protect QBs.

Something to that but... for ONE player to rush for over 300 yards in a game of that importance... just shows that SEC D ain't what it used to be. I get that Mizzou is the recent addition 'upstart' but, I suspect (too lazy to check) that this years average points and yards per game is significantly higher in the SEC than previous years.

Not a Auburn fan, but they deserve to play in NC game in January.

(If) Auburn played Bama again........Bama wins. Bama still #1 in the country.

Last night OSU proved to the world they're not NC material. Additionally, Urban left SEC for cushy schedule/job. I think he tired of the pressure of being a SEC coach.

That's my story and ........................

by the way, GO DAWGS.

Meyer lost his assistants and used up the players he inherited from Ron Zook. Zook was a crap coach but a great recruiter, and I would love to see him hired as the UF reciting coordinator.

When Urban had to start his own recruits and hire his own coordinators, he fell on his face.

"Outscore them" seems to be the theme in SEC football today for sure.

YEP.............the "dodge ball" haters now part of the NFL front office.

One "good" hit can eject a game changer. That is the officiating changing the outcome of a game. It happened to UF before the collapse and I know it happened to UGA both in the first quarter.

Am I bitter about our season? Nah.

At the annual post-season SEC football conference, look for them to change that rule. It was a disaster this year.

My son and I went to the UGA Missouri game and sat down almost at field level. Mizzou skill players are BIG and fast. Real good offense, not a team to take for granted. I think Auburn has earned the right to be there after coming through the gauntlet that they have. After the wins vs UGA and Bama, I have heard the word destiny used, Team of Destiny? Maybe
