If it goes bump in the night, I would grab my Ruger LCR loaded with .38 cal Federal Nyclad. I sleep in a recliner; and the Ruger is kept in a holster between the cushion and the arm of the chair.

Nyclad is my preferred .38 spl cartridge also. It's what's in my bedside gun. Wish they hadn't discontinued them.
