I literally have seen it all. Tons of makes and models. What are you using? What is a decent scope for those on a budget?

I use a Yukon brand 15x -45x spotting scope with angled eyepiece.
Normally I use it at 30 power because it's brighter and seems clearer than at 45X.

But the other day I was shooting it at 200 yards spotting .223 caliber holes in white paper in the shade.
I had to crank it up to 45 power for that, and it was still barely adequate. I had to really struggle to see the holes . 30 caliber holes would have been much easier to see; those would be OK for 30 power magnification.

There are a lot of good spotting scopes on the market, but a scope STAND is hard to find. You have to go to a gun shop or online seller that specializes in the bullseye competition market-- equipment for serious shooters going for trophies.
