Paint it, post it as a rare Glock that is one of a kind for $1000. Then go buy two. Just my opinion.

Here's what I have done to my first glock, put 7k rounds through it, wear it fishing/riding or any outdoor activity, make sure it has tons of mud in every groove, leave it outside after you get it dirty, do NOT clean it but if it gets rinsed off in a creek or lake that is ok, but abuse it the best you can, then become a fan boy like me when it still runs 100% after several more thousand rounds with zero cleanings. I would put some night sights on it though. Maybe get a few extra mags if you can for as low of $ as you can, not the best time for that though. Hard to beat a glock.
It's a Glock the reason to own one is reliabilty and round count in a concealable package. The more you customize the more you take away from that. It's your gun. I would suggest you shoot a few thousand rounds and then see what you want to change. Heck it's a 40 it's already different.
