What's on the grill tonight?

Not to be a smart alek but if the pellets don’t give it enough smoke, how is a tube full going to help? I have a trager and am not pleased with the lack of Smokey-ness I get.
I don’t use it in the Recteq, I used to use it on the Weber gas grill be I got the smoker although I have seen people use it to add additional smoke.
 
I got a Pit Barrel Cooker and hung some chicken quarters for its first cook. I used rubs from Sucklebusters - highly recommend their stuff. The chicken turned out delicious but it just doesn't get hot enough to crisp the skin. Need to learn the tricks of this thing a little better. Might need to crack the lid the last 20 minutes.
