I'm going with a C3 billet lower with a MI billet upper Bison Armory 11.5 in in 6.8 SPC. Hand guard a carbon fiber APC tactical. Not sure what stock yet.

Which AR lower to SBR?

for my SBR I didn't care which lower I did, I just chose a bushmaster since my other lowers are Colts and figured the Colts would be easier to sell if I needed cash.
My form 1 lists the barrel length as 14.5 inches since I will always have a 14.5 inch upper on hand. For stock I just measured with standard 6 position stock. Once you have your stamp you can use whatever upper you want, the only caviat is whatever the ATF has on file is the configuration the gun must be in if you ever sell it. You can notify them that you are changing the upper length if you want, but it isn't required unless you are selling it. I can't see why anyone would ever buy somebody else's AR15 SBR so I don't really see that it would be an issue.

Doesn't matter which one you SBR, as long as you know that it functions 100%. All pins fit correctly, magazine well isn't too tight and drops all mags easily, etc.
