How many miles on it?
They are excellent cars in general, but they are "high performance" cars which basically means some of the parts are not meant to last you a lifetime. Bushings are a good example. They will likely wear out around 50k and those are not covered under warratny IIRC, they are a wear and tear item like brakes. I had to replace two control arm bushings in a 330ci and that was around $600. A new clutch was $1500. Brakes were $1200 (they replace rotors and pads). Can't recall tires, but low profile tres are expensive and don't last very long. My steering pump started to go and that was going to be $600. Sold it. I had a Honda before that that I don't think I ever put more than $200 in repairs in 10 years. I did enjoy the bimmer though. Drive that bish like you stole it because those performance parts will wear out anyhow, so might as well get some enjoyment out of it.
One thing I would recommend is to put a K&N cold air intake on it. I had one in mine and while it wasn't a huge power boost, it did give the engine a nice little hum, plus it's a lifetime filter. Anyhow, congrats and enjoy!
