Me too thats why the RC's are now gone. They are expensive to build.

well i guess my definition of rock crawler was wrong. i was thinking more about a trail capable rig that can go over mud, rocks (not big boulders), a small creek, and the occasional tree branch sitting in the way

Not necessarily wrong, but yeah there's a difference between a trail rig and a true rock crawler. Plus living in the southeast I think a trail rig would be more useful. I believe those hard core crawlers are more common out west. Hunt4food's Rubi and some of the other vehicles pictured in this thread are MORE than capable of doing what you're talking about. My Jeep is a 2000 TJ with a 4" lift and 33" tires. It can do everything you described but I definitely don't consider it a rock crawler. Its also my daily driver so I can't afford to break axles or roll it on a trail either.

no its pretty much sits like that right now. its been a really busy few weeks and will most likely remain busy for the next month. its a slow build haha....

once we get over this stage of the build, it will go pretty smoothly...its in a awkward stage right now.
