Why buy a Stacatto??

They are great pistols but they are coming from a competition background where price was no object.

Your FN is a much better carry pistol than a 9mm 2011 would be.

Unless Kimber has had a serious look at quality control, I doubt I will ever buy another one. I bought my first one in 2000, nice pistol, good shooter...I was sold on the brand. the last three that I bought (between 2015 and 2018) had issues with finish, and were pretty finicky (FTE/FTF) depending on what ammo I used..even after the ridiculous break in period.
^^^TRUTH SPOKEN^^^^

I love my Staccato P with Holosun Acss-Vulcan sight on it. I have 1700 rounds down the pipe. I've handed it to people in the range and let them try it. I treat this the same way as a suppressed pistol. Most people will never shoot either of these items and figured it was just good 2A stewardship to let people make up their own mind. Biggest question after they give it back with a grin is "How Much is this setup"? If you shoot 1911's, you will love the Staccato.

Buying any new Kimber product for the past 20 years is a mistake. Always a mistake. Some people just don't learn.

I am in this same boat, I choose to go the budget route and get a Tisas Night Stalker Ds. It actually cost a tad more than a New Glock at a store not ODT...lmao
Is was on sale, $599
Factory Threaded barrel (plus for a host)
Rmsc optic cut. (Prefer a Rmr cut but a sacrifice had to be made)
5" barrel.

My first trip to the range this morning. Boy did I really mess up when mounting the optic! The long screw mistake bound the extractor to where it would not feed by itself!
shooting a hand feed round at a time I still have Great groups and it felt great.

All in under 800 with optic and it will gonna be a fun range toy. My edc is a 43x

I shot a friends Staccato and it was most accurate semi- automatic pistol I’d ever shot. It had a smooth action and fit and finish were excellent. I went home and got my Les Bauer Premiere 2 out and shot it. Next day I ordered the Staccato and I’ve never regretted it. They also give Military, Law Enforcement and first responders active or retired a discount and free extra mags. I don’t know about how it would be for every day carry but I bought an inside waist band holster and mag pouch from them as well.

Bul is suppose to be a great 2011. But it seems like everything else their prices have really climbed in the past two years. They were running about 1700 to 2000 for their edc models. Now with their new line from shot show prices are between 2600 to 2800. Their race guns are around 6500 and up
