Bul is suppose to be a great 2011. But it seems like everything else their prices have really climbed in the past two years. They were running about 1700 to 2000 for their edc models. Now with their new line from shot show prices are between 2600 to 2800. Their race guns are around 6500 and up

Happens every time someone does something right.

You're probably seeing a lot of them on here because people are likely buying them w/ an LE/HERO discount and then flipping them for minimal loss when they decided to upgrade or get rid of it.

In the grand scheme of things in the 2011 world, the staccato is fairly entry/mid level and the gateway drug to atlas/infinity/nighthawk etc. There are diminishing returns the higher up you go/spend in the realm of 2011s. People often forget how much of a rocky start they've had but now they offer a great production 2011 out of the box at a reasonable price.

With that being said, you can easily dump that much $ into a polymer gun and it wont shoot nearly as nice as a stock 2011. There's a reason why many LE agencies have approved them for duty use.

Get you a Bul Armory Edc Pro. Mine shoots much better than my Steel P did while being way lighter and way cheaper

Same here. I want a 2011 to just shoot. Own about 25 other handguns including three good 1911’s. Keep looking at everything from Tisa,Pridigy,Platypus, Fusion Furearms up to the Staccato. In my mind for something I am not going to carry, the cheaper versions would probably do just fine for my range. Now that Springfield has released the 3.5 Prodigy I am leaning toward it. Also if I want to get rid of it for some reason it is usually easier to find a buyer in the 1000 range instead of the 2800 range.

Unless Kimber has had a serious look at quality control, I doubt I will ever buy another one. I bought my first one in 2000, nice pistol, good shooter...I was sold on the brand. the last three that I bought (between 2015 and 2018) had issues with finish, and were pretty finicky (FTE/FTF) depending on what ammo I used..even after the ridiculous break in period.

I think anything you buy now days is going to have quality control issues. Just plain fact.

Not my cup of tea. If you have the money and don't mind possibly losing money when you sell it, then go for it. Guns over $1k are a lot harder to move than guns under $1k. You may really like it once the bugs have been worked out. Just figuring there will be bugs with the new quality control of things.
