This is another hindsight moment. My ‘90 vert when we lived in Utah. It was my daily….nervously in the snow too.

Yes it was converted. My best friend back in the day was a mechanic. He always had good A/C. He'd even put an extra lb. in the system. I've never really had any complaints with my A/Cs as long as they're working right. I also add an extra container to mineWas it converted to r134? None of those old r12 cars that have been converted to r134 have ever worked right in my opinion.
Man I would gladly pay several thousand dollars more for a car that still had a functional r12 air conditioning system. I remember my parents had an '86 Buick Skylark that would shoot icicles out of the vents as soon as you hit the switch. Nothing they make today can ever compare.

When I was 17 I got a screaming primer grey 1990 5.0 GT. I had that thing for 3 years.
Man it felt like it could crack the concrete just idling because you could just feel it thumping while standing next to it.
But then you have the 351 Cleveland. Also 427,8 and 9s. Now we're talkin.....The Ford 302 is one of the best sounding engines of all time. I'd put it right next to the legendary Merlin V12 that powered the Spitfire and P-51.
You know the Chevy is faster. I'd never believed it. I was a die hard Ford fan most of my life. I've done a lot of research on this. Just sayin
But the cool factor of having a sweet fox wayyyy outweighs the fun factor.I'm a huge fan of Camaros and I've had two third gen IROC Z's. Great cars if you can find one that hasn't been ragged out. But there's just something about the fun factor of driving a fox body
