Why Do Some ODT'ers Try To Sell Their Gun for Way Too High of a Price?!

Gosh, I have never heard that the prices on ODT are too high!
I guess I was naive enough to believe that members who own something and want to sell it, can ask whatever they want for it. I did not realize that anyone who sells on ODT should have get their price "OK'd" by members on ODT! Yeah, sure! Here is a novel ideal, "if the deal is too high, pass it buy". No one is forcing you to buy it.

Is is just me or what? I know the price of many revolvers, semi-auto's and rifles I've bought and sold over the past 5 years or so. They have not INCREASED in value that much and/or retail prices have not gone up big time. When I look at ads daily and look the asking price I say out loud to myself "NO WAY, YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! That will never sell at that price". And they usually get relisted over and over and over.

Sure someone with deep pockets could buy it. But for the majority of us, no. Or we know it is overpriced. I see posts for things I have sold as LNIB for double the amount I sold mine for or $100's more and I am not taking a loss.

They'd have much better success and better ratings if they priced them fairly. Thanks for listening to me vent! I feel better now!

DegaMan

P.S. "DegaMan" means Talladega Superspeedway Man! No race track like it in the world A total RUSH!
