Why not build a 7.62x39 AR???

I'm building my first one too. I sold/traded off all my SKSs and AK and don't really want another one. But I have a few thousand rounds of ammo...so figured I'd build an AR around the ammo rather than the usual inspiring barrel or stripped lower.

Rdkill read my original post. Your thread is the reason I started this one this morning. Good luck with it and please keep me posted on how it goes.

I've been researching and thinking about starting an AR build in 7.62x39 and I have a few questions. First, why aren't there more of them out there? Is it the reliability issues and if so haven't most of them been fixed with the enhanced firing pins, mags, and feed ramps? Are there other issues that have come up? Does anyone on here have experience with a build that runs flawlessly? If so, what parts manufacturers did you use? Which parts are are recommended and more importantly are there any that I should completely stay away from? Any help from those in the know would be great. Thanks in advance y'all.
***Rdkill, I started typing this in your thread this morning but thought it would be better to just start another.
because sig sauer makes them.

Yea I kind I want a sig 556r but I want it to be an sbr.
Tried a 556r and it balanced terribly to me. Didnt like trigger either. I can run my Geissele on this SBR.
