Your favorite deer to larger game hunting rifle.

Hmm, I killed my first deer with a 50 cal. Hawken. Center fire, I hunted with a 308 for years. Browning A-bolt, BAR and BLR. Last several years, Weatherby Vanguard in stainless 257mag for open plains and a Ruger #1 in 375H&H for brush hunting. Got tired of having to pass on deer because of too dense of brush. And I bought a Remington 700ML in stainless about 30yrs ago. Dropped plenty deer with it

Shoulder is gone, so I've got an old 22-250 I'll be using this year. My bad weather gun is normally a handi rifle in 444, not even thinking about that. Thinking about getting a Howa in 6.5 Grendel setup, and then it will be there for the boy next year.

I would have to say the old Browning BLR model 81 in 7mm08 will end up being the favorite!

I have been a 30:06 fan most of my days. Got a BAR that’s great and taken my best ever with.
I hunted last year with a ruger ranch in 450 BM and may be my new go to. Took a nice buck with it. It’s very accurate, short, lightweight and quick target acquisition
