Your preferred repellents for camping, hunting & fishing ?

Same here. The permethrin hasn’t appeared to have hurt my hunting at all. I personally don’t care if it ever does cost me a deer or two now and then. I had Lyme Disease a few years ago. To make things worse I’m allergic to the top three antibiotics recommended to combat the disease. The long term effects suck and it’s an extremely miserable experience altogether. I do not want to ever experience that again!
I would also hate to have to give up eating mammalian meat if I ever were infected by a Lone Star tick.

Yep, Lyme disease is no fun, and neither is Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Ask me how I know. LOL.

I have some stuff called Sawyers Maxi Deet. If I remember correctly, it is 98% Deer or higher. $10/ bottle at Cabela’s.

Have always washed my clothes in Permethrin. That said, I forgot back in April and ended up with STARi. It sucked but apparently not as bad as other tick borne illnesses.
