Just got these 2 kits. M72b1
Need receivers and barrels.
Am I missing anything? Anyone have a receiver ...or 3?

Building the lighter one back to original.

The darker one is going to get bubba'd

If i cant find any receivers here, im gonna use nodakspud but if anyone knows of a better quality I would love to hear about it.

Childers receivers are excellent, from what I hear. There is some lead time, but I think Nodak is out of the 1.5mm Yugos at the moment. You'll also need a rivet kit.

AK builder has barrels, not chrome lined, but neither were the originals. http://ak-builder.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=30641 You'll also need your compliance parts, trigger group, and pistol grip are easiest. With the receiver and barrel being US made, you will have the required 6.

They should be usable, but you need to stay 922(r) compliant. The Tapco G2 is actually an excellent trigger and helps with compliance.

im not worried about parts. Im gonna be safe by buying a barrel and receiver made in usa.will probably go with alg triggers for them

Dont Use JJ industries to built it. That guy cant headspace a barrel properly.

How much experience do you have with hand tools? Building an Ak is a huge undertaking. Most places are out of receivers at the moment.
