I picked up a 1993 FXR in Hiawassee Georgia. It’s a good bike that needs a bit of work. I can’t wait to get this bike dialed in and rolling down the road.
One of the staff at Dalton Harley Davidson had a motorcycle accident this morning and they are doing a benefit for him. If you’re into charity be on the lookout for their updated they’re going to do a ride and auction some quilt.
Those Michelin scorcher tires aren’t made anymore I think. Which is a shame cause I really did put a lot of highway miles on them and they held up. I took that Harley 8 miles down a Forest service road and back and no little puncture marks it was good.
You know I never would own a Ducati just because the Desmo service cost so much, but then again if I was gonna do it the bike doesn’t fit my uses anyways. If I ever quit riding Harley’s or couldn’t get a goldwing I’d have to get like a BMW GS or a Honda NC750. I’d like to try an adventure...
Now Scotty is wild cause he’s literally nuts from being detached from modern society for so long. He’s a good friend but you gotta be ready when he wants to talk cause he talks man. He wrote for easy rider magazine he’s a trip
Well that was interesting. On a completely different note I did an interview with a guy that lives off his motorcycle year round and I’d anyone is interested in watching it Im posting the link below.
I only ever owned two. The best one I had was a Honda shadow. I can tell you 100% I did i hadn’t gotten into Harley’s and been so knowledgeable of them mechanically I’d have a goldwing.
I got a 2015 Low rider with everything you’d ever need on it for 9500 the thing has 16k miles. Everyone else has theirs listed for 12k and up and it’s just not moving. Idk what to think. Normally I sell bikes quick.
