17HM2, enjoy the wicked high pitch sonic crack through Sparrow as much as I enjoy Gemtech 22.
Picked up a Howa Mini in 6.5 Grendel as summer project for Harvester 30 recently also.
T3 Varmint in 223 Rem, barrel shortened to 18", threaded 5/8x24, then barreled action bead blasted by Frank at Dobbs.
Sorry, Harvester 30 was purchased while Brian was busy doing his R&D work on ARC-30... Didn't know...
Is the cam lever fastener coming loose? Mine took 3 days to go back to S-co (prepaid) then they repaired and returned it the next day.
Mine usually stays on my p228R, sometimes on my P220. Was going to pick up Octane but tall suppressor sights had conflict with my holster, so I got Osprey 45...
I've gone past 90 days when I had my Osprey-45 on layaway at CG&P. Called ahead to let them know and David said it was fine.
I'm sure they want more money but got the impression they want repeat business from customers.
It's off of I-75 exit 293, 40 minute drive from Acworth Cabela's. My Harvester will give you some idea of what it is like to fire a suppressed centerfire rifle. Most any can you choose should be more quiet and/ or have better tone.
With your budget why not go for Sandman-S and put QD mounts...
Is the barrel of your 308 bolt rifle threaded? If yes and you don't mind a drive to Pine log, you are welcome to try my Harvester on your rifle.
My hosts are T3 Varmint in 223 and A7 in 270. While it is not the most quiet 30 cal can, it makes both rifles completely hearing safe to fire...
I should be able to give you feedback on POI shift and accuracy for Tikka T3 Varmint (223Rem) and Sako A7 (270Win) within 2-3 weeks. The targets will be set up at 100 and 200. The weight and option for multiple thread pattern mounts are two main reasons I picked Harvester.
My P228R, it rotates into EDC along with P225 and P239.
edit to add: I've ran some Winchester T&D 147gr. and thought it was pretty quiet. It turns out this is one of the louder loads in the market. Will pick up some quieter loads soon.
No regrets so far, I have one SBR lower with 2 uppers and four cans.
Sparrow covers P220 22lr and Sako Quad with 17HM2, 17HMR, 22lr, and 22WMR.
Osprey 45 covers P220 45ACP and P228R 9mm.
Harvester covers all of my current and future bolt action rifles.
White sparrow is a spare in case first...
