For all the 300BLK lovers, how does it compare to 9mm sound-wise?
Currently building an 8" 300BLK pistol, and hoping it's not too much louder, if any, than my CZ scorpion with an Obsidian.

300 blk is stupid quiet for a rifle caliber, especially with 220 gr or higher, but It's going to be louder than your 9mm, assuming you're using subs.
i have a remington 700 sps in 300 blk. The round hitting dirt make the most noise. Going to do a 458 socom bolt gun next.
It's stupid quiet shooting subs. Get all smiley and giddy when I shoot it. If it wasn't .65-.90 a round is the only drawback. Cruz I can run through some 300BO subs....
17HM2, enjoy the wicked high pitch sonic crack through Sparrow as much as I enjoy Gemtech 22.
Picked up a Howa Mini in 6.5 Grendel as summer project for Harvester 30 recently also.
Nice! I'd love to see a pic. That's one round I don't think I've ever shot.
It is 22 stinger case necked down to 17cal and loaded with 17gr. bullet. Fun little round I use on critters I'm not going to eat.
