The inletting is spot on, very tight with no slop between the receiver and stock at all. I don’t know if I will do any bedding (not sure it needs any) and yes it came with a pillar. This is the tightest fitting 10/22 stock I have seen. Larry does a fantastic job.

for those that are going the charger route, do you think the takedown is worth the extra cost (or difficulty in finding a deal on a used one)?

I guess it might depend upon the stock choice and if a TD version is available?

Thinking PMACA TD lightweight chassis with a 4.5" barrel and an SBA3 brace?

I have been in and out of 10/22 Takedown 3 times now and Charger TD once. Just not a fan. Just my opinion they are both cool but gimmicks. My short-barreled charger will fit in any small backpack and a charger without a buffer tube even smaller.

Don’t forget about the 6” Kidd Charger with the Hera folder! I love mine so much I sbr’d it.
