You going with a KIDD barrel too? I built my Charger awhile back with a 5" KIDD barrel. That darn thing will ring the center of a 6" steel plate at 50 yards every shot with a cheapie $50 dollar Sightmark Mini-Shot sight!

Probably a Feddersen 16.25 taper barrel. This is going to be a light/stalking rifle to go with Heavy D.

^^^ correction 18in taper barrel. This is going to be my version of a Deluxe Sporter. Looking at the Revolution Explorer laminate stock or a Boyd's Rimfire Hunter. Will be topped with a Weaver Classic Rimfire 2-7x28 in Talley Lightweight low mounts. I want this one to be exactly the way I want it. Heavy D is a hodge podge of parts from ODT and RFC. So I am slowing down the project to save a little more for a laminated stock. I want to get the barrel and action Cera coated. Hope to finish by squirrel season opener in August.

Looking at those as well along with the Feddersen 17in Heavy Taper. Keep coming back to a taper barrel for a traditional look and feel this time.

100% Original Eh... Canadian Centenial rifle. Only 4000 made and this one is C12XX. Only 1000 of the 4K were made with the Beaver tail stock and finger grove forend. Rare stock configuration and rare rifle made only in 1967. Finger grove stocks were only on American rifles from 1966 - 1971 Eh...
