Forget the paint job. Conceal it. Get a Thunderwear holster for it (like a jock strap, but for guns!), and hang that shotty barrel down your inner thigh.
Then have a custom tee-shirt printed with the message: "That actually IS a shotgun in my pants, but that doesn't mean I'm not happy to see you!"
