I really want to build a 4.5" or so .22 AR. I know a couple guys on here have some. Everyone said to talk to redtazdog on AR15.com and he would cut a barrel and fit the CMMG kit, well I did and he no longer performs these services. So does anyone know somewhere else I could get this done? Does anyone sell a short .22 barrel like that?

I took a 20" Colt 1/12 A1 barrel over to Dobbs Defense and had him cut it to 4.5 inches. I just use my Ciener kit with it. It works great.

1:16 for everything unless you are dead set on using the 60gr SSS round, then that requires a 1:9
That's exactly what I used and I love it. Only had one pack of bulkpack ever go supersonic and it was about 20 degrees out and must have been really hot stuff.
