Honestly, that 300 in-line 6 was probably the best engine Ford has ever installed in their trucks.change of plans, after doing a little more homework on doing the v8 swap decided not to get into that , so I've decided to keep it as original as I can so.... I found a rebuilt 300 in line 6 out of a 67 truck that Im picking up later this week, it will bolt right in and will be a lot less work and save money, In the past 2 weeks I got some stuff done, I pulled the fuel tank and cleaned out the varnish, installed a new sender and put it back in. I pulled the radiator, removed the drive shafts, , disconnected the engine and trans and got them ready to pull. Heres a pic of the engine I gonna put in her.View attachment 5521760
