Back at it again this evening, got rained out yesterday evening around 7:20. Hunted the ground with my ghostblind, but got spotted by a monster doe. It was my fault though, I pulled my crossbow up to fast. I got excited. Sitting in the stand this evening.

Im a carpet bagger or damn yankee, whichever you prefer, but I have a question. Can chiggers get down in laced up boots? I've never experienced anything like this but something got me good this weekend.

Chiggers lit me up last weekend when I was dove hunting in a soybean field but I had my pants tucked in my boots. But yeah they can get in your laced up boots

Im guessing that's what it was. The itch is similar to poison ivy but it's 100 little red spots not a rash.
