What an interesting weapon.

Never understood the wire stocks or under folders. Super uncomfortable to shoot. I guess they weren’t meant to be precision guns anyway and just shoot in the general direction of the enemy that’s too close to your tank.

Thanks for sharing!

Up top is a Yugo that I picked up around 2003, when the first batch of non-restricted ones of them got imported by Century prior to bans half a year later. Built (other than the Century receiver) about 10miles from where I was born in Serbia. I've spent more time in the woods hunting with this rifle than any of the other 100+ rifles I've owned. It is probably only worth around 1K, but I would not take 15K for it, it's that sentimental to me. The Yugo's are in my opinion the best quality AKs, not being bias. My next AK will be a real deal all Serbian made Mitchell Arms Import M70 at $3-4K. If I find a transferable one (rare, but they exist) I'll scoop it up.

At the bottom is a Norinco Type 56s transferable machinegun by LaFrance. Now that one is north of 30k, though I would not sell it until prices hit 40-50K in the next 3-5 years.

Here is a video of the Norinco right when I bought it. It was originally imported in 1981-2 and converted by LaFrance in 84-85. Sometime from 83 to now, someone replaced the forgrip with plastic, I since replaced it back to Norinco/Polytech wood, but like the plastic pistol grip so I left that alone.
