I really created this thread for the search engines at the prodding of another member who PM'd me in regards to this topic.

Milled or stamped? That is the question. It's quite interesting that the original AK's that actually worked and were reliable were milled. Who woulda thunk? :D I've heard many people here and abroad say that the AK is "supposed" to be stamped to retain original configuration, but I prefer milled because it is...............afterall.................the OG that worked.
