Any recommendations on a O/U shotgun for Skeet or Trap?

All are good choices but budget and how much you shoot, or will be, will be the difference.

500 rounds a year, CZ yildez etc will be fine. 5000 rounds, baretta 686 or better.
Think of a lawn mower. Homeowner uses once a week durring the season, any will work with little maintenance. Landscaper uses every day, they but the best.

If you are going to do some shooting to see how you like it, stop by here and pick up a baretta semi auto, shoot it , and see what kind of investment makes sence.

I picked up a Mossberg Silver Reserve from a great trader here on the ODT. My son has shot it twice (probably 100 shots each outing) and it fits him perfectly! Now he's hooked on trap shooting!

I would go cheap in the beginning and make sure it’s something you would invest in.when you purchase 1500.00 plus guns They are a lot harder to sell.

Any good deals out there or recommendations for a O/U 12 gauge ?
What should I look out for? Stay away from? What is a quality gun?

If you go to Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds off Camp Creek Pkwy, you can rent a very nice Beretta O/U for about $10 to see if you like them. They also have used O/U for sale.

after 5 years with my Rizinni O/U, i switched to a Maxus Sporting Clays semi-auto. that being said, i miss O/U for its heavier weight, and 2 different choke restrictions. if i had any cartilage left in my right shoulder, i'd still use the O/U...
