If you are shooting trap it will be fine. You will feel it after a couple rounds. Skeet, well it can be done and I started with one, but the family shoots A400 barettas. The kickoff lets teenage girls shoot 1 1/8 oz loads all day and not complain. Youngest can shoit 100 rounds and go to vollyball practice.

I have a A300. $500-600 semi auto that Iove. Couple thousand rounds and like new. Added about a pound of weight and doesnt kick much.
