Anyone install water heaters

Tonight our water heater tank decided to flood out and seemed to rust through after 25 years
Anyone here on odt do replacement work for those? We have 2 new hot water tanks in g to be basement
How much des it cost to install them?

If electric, very easy DIY. Shark fittings make everything easy to attach. Gas takes a little more work; but not that hard. Just get new gas lines and correct fitting tape.

As an HVAC guy, I do that to my family and friends around here. It is not that complicated. Best thing to do is go to HD or Lowes and price them. You buy the tank and someone can change it for you, in a bit.

We have 2 new hot water heaters already from an old project that never happened, I’m only afraid to do it myself because the builder installed it and his people sometimes did things working but in a weird way

you wont know til you tear into it. Any plumber should be able to replace and one guy is looking for side work

Looks like cold showers a few days before the new one is put in, warm water is more important then we give it credit for
