Way to fight the power!

There will not be 'armed revolt' in CT. Whether they go door to door using those lists that don't exist or not. The odd person or two might put up armed resistance but he will be killed and his 'violent past and criminal history' will be made public and the public will be thankful. The rest will quickly fall in line when they see the price they must pay.

Good thing those fine Patriots at Lexington and Concord didn't share you optimism.

Hey, it was a good run while it lasted (which is longer than they assumed.)
Point to ONE thing in recent history in this country that suggests it will be anything other than a roll over and a complete and decisive bulldozing and I'll GLADLY "keep hope alive". You really REALLY think the people of this country are prepared for armed revolt for FREEDOM in this country? GWL holders? Seriously?
The people of Kiev, have lived in, their parents have lived it, this is life for them and they understand the costs and benefits. Most of the current generation here doesn't know life before American Idol.

Actually I think to get the most bang for the buck they would interrupted the show in progress.

Not disagreeing with you, simply pointing out the fact that if those fine men shared the optimism you have, as well as every other American, we would still be under British rule. Heck, this is supposed to be a community of gun enthusiasts, and we can't even come together on anything.

We can all line up for our GWL's together.
The founders lived a completely different reality. They did a job unsurpassed in history in attempting to leave a 'fool' proof legacy. Unfortunately, the fools have taken over.
