Ryan has had a rocky start in Indy - a bad offensive line has led to him being under pressure often and sacked a lot. He took a lot of hits in the Denver game but held on to win.
However on Sunday the line held up and there were no sacks. Their offense switched to a fast pace and it worked to keep the defense off balance. He finished with nearly 400 yards of passing, no interceptions, no fumbles, 72.4% completion rate and three TDs. It was Ryan at his best...he led the team to a game winning drive very late in the 4th quarter. What else could you ask of him?
Along the way he passed Dan Marino for 7th on the all time passing list.
I still think it's funny that when the Falcons lost, Matt got most of the blame here - even when the team had a terrible offensive line, no running game and no pass rush. Mariotta got a pass on the losses this year - even though he's has some bad games as well this season.
