I don't sell cheap junk guns that a criminal would be willing to pay for anyway so it's not really a concern of mine.

Actually I rarely sell guns anyway. Most times I trade.

Yeah, as I commented above, why is only sellers that need a BOS for protection. Being as there is no effective way for non-LEO to check that a gun has not been stolen, you'd think more buyers would want a BOS.

Case in point:
Athens man gets 7 years in federal prison for drug and gun convictions

The .45-caliber pistol located in the trunk of Kendrick’s vehicle was said by police to have been stolen in Atlanta.

At the time of his arrest, during a phone call to his mother, Kendrick was secretly recorded by Athens-Clarke County police as saying he bought the gun from a stranger and that he planned to resell it at a profit.

Do you also ask if they have ever been convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence, renounced their US citizenship, been declared mentally incompetent, addicted to an illegal substance, etc, etc? You know, for morals and all that.

My wife declares me mentally incompetent 3 or 4 times per week. Does that count?? LOL
