Bug Out Weapons for SHTF, Whats Your Primary?

I actually carry 3 firearms daily. One on me and 2 in my EDC bag. Typically 2 handguns (usually Glocks or a 1911) and my AR pistol.

I would almost prefer Zombies over SHTF, which brings me to my question, who on here thinks zombies are plausible?

I love "The Walking Dead", but I think the Zombies in the movie "The Crazies" are more realistic. I know they weren't called zombies, but that's what they were. A drug or chemical that makes someone a mindless killer. There's a lot of people these days on prescription drugs, due to ADHD, depression, sleeping disorder, etc... Some of these drugs turn them into walking zombies. And who knows what the Government has!

Or maybe a weaponized rabies, or at least something like 28 days later is way more plausible than "zombies". The zombie thing is an allegory for societal brake down and roving mobs

In a different life, I worked with trauma and neurosurgical patients. Injuries to (if I remember right) the brainstem caused guys to lose thir inhibitions. They acted like animals. They would bite at you, growl and moan, and grab at women who walked by. Develop a virus or bacteria that affects the brainstem and you have zombies.

When my son was young, I used the "boogieman" term for evil people. Women at the playground gave me crap about it, but he understood it because of the fairy tale correlation.

AR15 for me & the wife, her's is a lightweight build in 556 & mines in 10mm auto to match my sidearm.

I don't beleive I've ever seen a 10mm AR, does it take Glock mags?
