I was at the local range a few days ago and asked one of the counter guys for the price on a used CZ PCR D they had. The guy said "it's actually a Compact D, not a PCR." I replied, "I've had 3 PCR's and they all said Compact D on the slide. It's alloy, not steel, like the straight Compact 75. The CZ site describes them as PCR's." He insisted they weren't the same. I said "I'm not going to argue with you. It's a PCR." Decent price, too......about $540. The thing had barely been shot.

Look, just change your expectations and use their "expert" knowledge to your favor.

I walked out of a big box store with a NIB BENELLI M-4 for less than $1200...just because the guy behind the counter and the girl at the register had no clue.

And it was not my job to educate them.
