I went to th Chick fil a bowl there in 09 and there were metal detectors. I wouldn't do it bc they are gonna tell you that you can't bring it in.

I'll report back on the security and signage when I get back. I really don't remember going through a metal detector, or maybe it was just fake. Seems like you would have to empty your pockets if you did.
I'm gonna find something that would definitely set one off to test the theory.

They can say what they like...the question is what steps they take to actually enforce it.

And legally he can. Signs (and personal rules) don't mean illegal in GA, until they tell you to leave.
That wasn't the question, either.
But for the record, if I need to go somewhere and know I'll be asked to leave if I OC, then I'll CC and go about my business. If they're going to put up metal detectors and actually take steps to ensure that nobody carries there at all, then I have to consider whether or not I really need to go there.
And as jsquared pointed out, the short answer is "yes". The follow up question, however, is how practical it is...so...what steps do they take to actually enforce their policy?
yeah , legally he can but when they tell you not to and you do he'll probablty be asked to leave! They do have a few metal detectors i think they are at A and C i don't remember for sure but seems like they are at 2 entry points
