He's right. Sub 2k are way cheaper and the G17 or 19? model runs the most bang for your buck. They're reliable and fun I like them a lot for what they do.

If you catch PSA on certain deals it's almost a toss up. They had the complete lower for $199.99 free shipping, plus the complete 10.5 upper for $249.00 free shipping. That's pretty darn cheap. Is a sub2k less than that, yes. But not by much.

I have an SBR that uses the mag well adapter and colt mags. Seems to work great no problems at all.
I built a AR9 pistol with the QRF lower that uses glock mags and a shockwave brace set up for the lower. Runs well.
I went with 4 inch barrels on both uppers. One is a PSA. It was cheap and it's not near as nice as the other one I ordered from outdoor sports.
Be aware that when I spoke to PSA there new AR9 uppers are only comparable with their "hybrid" lowers.
