Me too, but they always get them from rescue centers. They can't survive in the wild. Mike VII will also be a rescue.

Cancer spread really fast and last week they said he had one or two weeks left but they wouldn't let him suffer. They euthanized him yesterday.

I said that tongue in cheek. They are solitary animals in the wild. They only get together to... well.... you know.
But hey, in for conjugals for Mike VII!

I can see taking in rehabilitated animals not able to survive in the wild for zoo's and cases like this!

that's what they do. Most of the "Mike's" have also lived to about 20 years which is twice the average lifespan of wild tigers. This one lived 9 years which is about average, before the cancer was found.
