Ive seen Vader's items and i can tell he's very meticulous about his stuff. I believe Vader when he says what he says. Nothing but positive dealings with an established ODT member.

New is new, as it left the factory. Would you buy a new car that had an aftermarket paint job and pay full price?

yes if the finish were superior to the original.......duh

some factory finishes are good and last well, and some aftermarket treatments are much much better. If I could get a superior finish for the price of a factory one, then yes absolutely I would be ok with it.

on the other hand, if I bought a firearm and didn't know what the finish was supposed to be and then found out it was an aftertreatment then I would be concerned initially about longevity.
