DIVORCE Lawyer Question...

I thought so too but since everything is signed I don’t have access to a lawyer now and I called the Gwinnett PD last night. The officer called me back and explained because the divorce is not signed by the judge yet she still has the right to the house.

Tell her no, worst case she files a motion and your paperwork will be finalized before you would even have to respond.
Even so, you wouldn't be required to hand her a key, make her call a locksmith.

There's no doubt that you stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.

You can tell he no. Its on her past that. You do not have to hand her a key.

I'm currently going through a situation on a property on lake Allatoona. Atty says hire a locksmith if the other party won't hand over a key. I can file a motion to compel, but a locksmith is cheaper, quicker, and easier. They're is no law against saying no. However, physically they cannot prevent me from entering the property. Tell me no, put up chains/gates/locks all they want (and have). I can still enter the property. I too am just waiting on a judges signature to transfer the property then it won't matter.
