DIY Gas Buster Charging Handle

All of my AR's will be getting this "upgrade".

If painting an $800.00 AR or putting a UTG rail on it makes it worth $1200.00, drilling a hole in the charging handle will make it priceless.

Can't wait to try this with a can to see how well it works.

Ah heck, getting all technical on me.


Honestly I didn't look, I just grabbed on that looked like what I wanted and went to work. I will be running down to do one more here in the next 15 minutes or so. I will look then. It is still in my drill motor.

Just drilled another one. The drill is 5/32". I'll add that information to the OP.
