Does your AR eat steel?

My spike's rifle eats steel cased wolf like an AK.

My Bushy and my Les Baer AR's will eat either. I just don't like the laqured stuff, I prefer plain steel, if I'm shooting steel cased ammo. And yeah my AK eats whatever.

I keep a small spray can of Rem-oil handy when shooting steel case. A little squirt into the chamber before shooting and after a couple of hundred rounds and it works like a charm. I've been shooting some of the Herters using a slide fire stock and it has fed fine.

My stag doesn't like steel cased.dpms eats anything.

i have a bushmaster c-15 and it eats whatever i feed her

My old M&P-15 didnt like Wolf or Tula, or any of the dull grey cased stuff. Silver bear was no problem, never tried any of the lacquered.

My Daniel, Colt, & RRA have never had problems with it. I also run it VERY rarely because I can't reload it.

I only run double-charged proof rounds. All day, everyday.
