It was a helluva day yesterday. After spending more than three hours getting my son from school and safety home, I ventured out to try and meet my daughter who had been in traffic for eight hours on Highway 92. The gridlock, abandoned cars and road conditions made getting home impossible. But thanks to the kind people at Movie Tavern in Roswell we had a warm, safe place to sleep for the evening. They even showed free movies for us. Their kindness, as well as the nice people at the Wal-Mart Market who kept their doors open all night, will not be forgotten.
