I am looking for answers. I THINK I want a Five Seven. I have never shot one and I know the ammo is expensive. I would like some feedback and reviews from people who have shot or owned one.

What is maintenance like?
What would you tell someone who has NO experience with one?

My daily carry pistol is a Springfield XDM 9 4.5" with the Stainless slide.

Thanks for your input.

Its both. It's a novelty pistol in my worthless opinion. Go rent one and see what you think after shooting it. I had to have one at one point in time, one trip to the range and changed my mind.

matter of opinion..I own one and will never sell it. just imagine a mini AR that will fit in a iwb holster. three 20 round mags or if you can find them 30 rounders. the 5.7x28 is a pretty mean round , but light recoil. everyday carry gun is still my 1911 .45 acp. the 5.7 is the kind of gun that if the crap hits the fan ,your glad you have one. just my 2cents.

They are alot of fun to shoot, with almost no recoil. They make 100 yard shots with a pistol seem simple. The problem right now is the ammo went through the roof. It is enough fun that with all the crazy prices people are paying I still own one.

how accurate are you with it?

I sold mine to finance another project. But I must say, it's an AWESOME gun. Recoil is about like a .22LR. Stopping power is like a 5.56 NATO round. You can carry it IWB... accurate as hell... the list goes on. If I had endless $$, I'd add one back to my collection today.
