What's the difference?
Is the M22 slightly better quality?

At Walmart, the 325 round box of Automatch costs $22.16 before tax ($0.0651 per round)
At Walmart, the 1k round box of M22 costs $67 before tax ($0.067 per found)

on left is Federal, on right is Winchester

Either is solid plinking ammo. My MP 15-22’s and Buckmarks eat both with no issues. Kids have shot 1000’s of rounds of each. I buy the cheapest at the time and let it rip. Some guns are finicky and may not feed either brand very well. I had a Ruger MK IV that would only run well with CCI.

Both are perfectly good plinking ammo. Test both and see if either shoots better. Buy that

Both are just decent plinking ammo. Not sure that I'd put any thought into the 10ths of a cent cost difference. If one shoots better than the other in your guns, run with it.
